Hello. My name is Nicolas Gigliani. I am currently a 17-year-old honor roll student attending Greenwich High School, in Greenwich, CT. I was proudly born in the capital of Spain, Madrid, and though I have spent a great majority of my life within the United States, I am a Spaniard at heart. I pride myself on my hard work and dedication within school, as well as my endurance and effort on the outside. My interests lie in entrepreneurship, school clubs, and volunteerism. Today, I am a youth leader at the non-profit organization, Building One Community. Here, I lead a team of tutors with the focus of helping immigrants to learn to speak, read, and write in English, as well as introduce them to the basics of American livelihood and culture. I have a great thirst to learn more about the immigrant and refugee community, and to give back to the people that want to change their lives for the better.
